THE VOLUNTEER NETWORK WERE YET AGAIN HEAVILY INVOLVED IN THIS WONDERFUL COMMUNITY MINDED FESTIVAL, WE ACTIVELY TOOK PART IN MANY THINGS AS YOU CAN SEE BELOW. WE TOOK A TEAM OF 40 YOUNG VOLUNTEERS WITH US, WHO ALL REALLY ENJOYED THEM SELVES.
 | THE VOLUNTEER NETWORK StewardsWe provided fully trained young stewards to help marshall the event and keep everyone safe and happy. Watchet Festival liked us so much they asked for more shifts and to come back next year! This also gave young volunteers the chance to put into practice their stewarding skills and experience a family friendly festival FOR FREE!

THE VOLUNTEER NETWORK Bands6 young bands were given the opportunity to perform live at this festival. 2 of which were on the main stage! And the other 4 performed in the Crossiant Neuf Stage. All were a huge success and the crowds loved them.

 | Youth Welfare and InformationWe ran an information stand in the centre of the festival telling people all about Youth Volunteering in the South West. We also had facepainting ran by a couple of our younger volunteers. Alongside this info stand we ran a youth welfare point for young people to come and chat or get looked after. I'm glad to say that all ran smoothly! We did however have a very successful C-CARD point there, that proved extremely popular!
