The Volunteer Network is the operational name of Somerset Youth Volunteering Network.
We are an independent charity that only survives by fundraising for every penny we use to support our young people. Each year young people, staff and charity supporters spend months raising the money that last year we spent on giving 3,400 young people the opportunities to become positive members of their local communities. Along the way we helped 2500 young volunteers 560 adult volunteers and 120 charities and groups to work more positively with young people.

You don’t have to be a volunteer or young or live in Somerset to support Somerset Youth Volunteering Network and our work with young people.
As a charity, we get no financial support for the running of the charity and rely on the generosity of funders to recruit, train and support our volunteers.
