In June 2008 Glastonbury's wooden skate park was demolished for Health & Safety reasons. With collaboration between Mendip District Council, Glastonbury Town Council, Barnados, and the young skaters/riders in the community a brand new concrete park was opened on May 4th 2009!
This happend because of us supporting all the partners and the young people to rase the money, talk to each other and get the plans agreed!
